William R.W. Gorman Grave Marker

This grave marker, which is at Hackensack Cemetery, located at
289 Hackensack Avenue, Hackensack, New Jersey, reveals that William R.W. Gorman served in the United States Navy Reserve during World War II and died at the age of 59.

William R. W. Gorman was not listed on the Original Wall Unit at Hackensack High School, but there was a Richard Gorman which could be what the “R” represents as an odd double middle initials letters present on grave marker.

I do not know as of now if there is any connection between William R.W. Gorman and
Richard Gorman’s name on the Wall Unit at the present time.  The grave marker still confirms William’s connection to Hackensack by being buried within its borders since passing
and forevermore.

William R. W. Gorman’s grave marker confirms his service for which we are grateful.
